Little Known Linux Distro Offers Extreme Customizability

Recently, an update for Bodhi Linux was released, offering one of the most aesthetically pleasing releases out there. For those of you who don't know much about Bodhi, it is a very young distro thats main selling points are, according to their site, "User Choice and a Minimal Environment." Bodhi comes with significantly fewer pre-installed applications than the current release of Ubuntu (11.04), and therefore is a much smaller install.
In fact, they push this minimal idea so much, that Bohdi can apparently run effectively on a 300mhz machine with only 128mb of ram. The only web browser that it comes preloaded with is the popular, lightweight Midori web browser. However, Bodhi does offer their own software repository for your use, and the option to add others through their software store (which is very similar to the Ubuntu software center).
Another big selling point for this release is that it uses the Enlightenment desktop instead of the Unity desktop, that Ubuntu has received so much criticism for. One of the things that Enlightenment is known for is its wide array of gorgeous themes offered to users, of which there is a gallery on the Bodhi site. If you are looking for a much more stripped down distro of linux that you can basically build to your exact specifications without too much fuss, then this may be something for you to look into.
