Linux to land on government desktops
Following the lead of Sun Microsystems, Novell has launched an attempt to put Linux on the enterprise desktop, but the operating system is still struggling to get past the server-room door.

Three server deals the company has announced recently and a handful of secret customer trials could help Novell cut a path to its Ximian-based Linux enterprise operating system, Novell Linux Desktop, leading to corporate desktops.
